Yeah, definitely. I first learned to ollie on a pennyboard. I heavily, heavily recommend buying griptape at a local skateshop (or online) and throwing it on. A sheet is only like 4–10$, and it’s almost impossible to ollie or do most tricks without it, especially if your shoes aren’t totally clean.
