Why does camera need my location?

With the launch of Android 10 and iOS 13, both operating systems now require us to request from you the wifi details in order to work with your home network. To do this, we need the ability to identify when the app is in your home network – where you cameras are located.

What permissions does Wyze need?

You’ll probably want to leave this on the whole time, as it will show your profile to more potential matches as you move around your area.

To use your base station wirelessly:

1. In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Base Station.
2. Tap on the Settings gear on the top right.
3. Tap Device Info > Change Connection. You’ll see one of the following screens: Select your network. Follow the onscreen steps to connect to your WiFi network.
