Is VIT a bad college?
The only negative thing I’ll say about VIT is the quantity and quality of intake. Apart from that the facilities are amazing. There are some really good profs if you search well and if you really are interested. I would definitely recommend you to join the college.
Is VIT Vellore too crowded?
Yes. VIT is overcrowded but on the other side it does help with diversity and brilliant minds coming together to create something great.
Is VIT strict Quora?
Yes, it is strict but not strict as it’s mentioned everywhere. Campus in time is 6 on. Hostel in time for boys is 9 pm and for girls is 7 pm. Although library is open till midnight, and we are allowed to be there till 12.
Should I join VIT or take a drop?
There is always a room for improvement. If you think you can do it much better in future & VIT/SRM is not a good fit for you, you should better drop. According to my personal experience, if in year 1 you can get an admission at VIT/SRM in year 2 you can again clear it, it will not be a big deal.

The college infrastructure of VIT VELLORE is amazing. It has a vast 350+ acre of campus with many academic blocks, library, sports infrastructure, hostels and many more. It has some of the finest campuses in India. VIT Vellore has an overall 15th rank in NIRF ranking in Engineering colleges in India.
Does VIT provide laptop?
No, they will not give laptop at admissions process.
Does VIT have dress code?
No. There is not a formal, stereotypical dress code for any VIT campus. Although, you have to follow some rules in your laboratories. One of the rules is to wear an apron or lab coat at all the times.
