What is a eGift card and how does it work?
Digital gift cards and egift cards are the same thing. They are simply an electronic version of a physical gift card that can be sent directly to the person’s email address and used online or in store.
What is the difference between a gift card and an e card?
Gift cards themselves don’t contain the cash value loaded onto them. The gift card is just a physical token of that value. E-gift cards take the plastic element away. That’s the only significant difference.

An eGift card is sent and delivered electronically through email, app, or text. Delivery time can be nearly instantaneous or take up to 24 hours depending on the retailer.
