Absolutely not! Ketchup just drowns out any flavor that the steak or anything else people assault with ketchup. I DO on occasion use a little A1 on my steak if the mood hits me though. If a steak is properly seasoned and cooked to perfection, there shouldn’t be any need for any condiments.
