Should you care about looks in a relationship?
Even though looks may help with a first impression, the most essential thing in a relationship is how your partner supports you and brings you joy. Simply looking at physical attributes is a shallow mindset, and one should broaden their view on appearance by getting to know someone regardless of how they look.
Does appearance matter in a relationship?
Yes, a level of physical attraction is necessary for most people in romantic relationships. Many people find physical attributes like personal style, hygiene, or posture attractive, too. It’s also important to note that sometimes attractiveness doesn’t have anything to do with your physical attributes.
Is it okay to find others attractive in a relationship?
There’s nothing wrong with feeling an attraction to another person when you’re in a relationship. Having a crush on someone other than your partner while you’re in a relationship is totally normal. And it doesn’t mean you’re a shady girlfriend or a bad husband, or that your relationship is on the rocks.
Can you fall in love with someone based on looks?
yes it is possible, however that love is superficial and unless you find more substance in the other person, the love you feel will diminish over time.
Should I bring up criticisms of my partner’s appearance?

What are the signs of disrespect in a relationship?
Don’t overlook these small signs of disrespect. When you’re happily in love, it’s so easy to miss the signs that your partner isn’t exactly on the same page. While things like name-calling and cheating are obvious red flags, experts say the small things can clue you in to how in love your partner really is.
How do you know if your partner is genuinely in love?
When someone’s genuinely in love, they won’t be thinking about how you measure up against other people. When you ask your partner for their honest opinion, you should be able to know that they’re telling the truth and not just what you want to hear. Even though the truth is not always easy to tell, trust is important in a loving relationship.
Is your partner too immature for a serious relationship?
Regardless of how they feel, they’ll never do anything to purposely embarrass you. They’ll never make passive-aggressive social media posts either. If this is something that your partner does, there’s a good chance they’re too immature for a serious relationship.
