How many stark soldiers died at the Red Wedding?
The Red Wedding is a massacre at the wedding feast of Edmure Tully, Lord of Riverrun, and Roslin Frey at the Twins in 299 AC during the War of the Five Kings. The King in the North, Robb Stark, his mother Catelyn, and most of his three thousand five hundred soldiers are slaughtered.
What happens to the North after Robb Stark dies?
Most of Robb Stark’s army were wiped out as a result of the Red Wedding. A number of Lords, knights and perhaps men at arms were captured, with the noble born held to ransom, such as the Greatjon Umber, Patrek Mallister, Marq Piper and of course Edmure Tully.
What if the red Wedding failed?
if he didn’t die at the Wedding, he would die inevitably but in another way. probably in a last stand at Riverrun. the big change is that Arya would have made it there and been in Robb’s camp. if she fails to escape Robb’s final defeat and dies, humanity would be exterminated and Winterfell would fall.
What if Robb Stark married a Frey girl?
Walder Fray was always going to betray Robb marriage or no marriage. I’m glad non of my Starks ever married into that worthless disgusting family If he married a Frey girl, he would definitely have the support of his queen’s family. At the time of his march south, the Freys were just as loyal as the rest of the Riverlords.
Would Walder Frey have betrayed Robb if he didn’t defeat Robb?
Dread to think what would happen to the Riverlands though. If Walder Frey saw no victory for Robb then he may have still betrayed him, also Roose would have probably waited for the ideal moment (when Robb and his men were at their weakest) to strike and grasp the power for himself.
Would the Freys have betrayed Robb if he married Roslin?
But the writing was on the wall and there was no good reason for the Freys to continue supporting Rbb at that point. But if Robb had married Roslin (or another Frey girl) when he initially passed through or immediately after he lifted the siege on Riverrun, then at that point the Freys have much more to lose if they betray Robb.
