Ps3 is definitely worth owning in 2020 if you like older games. Backwards compatible with Ps2 on the original model too. The slim model removed backwards compatibility with Ps2 games however. PlayStation 1 games are still playable on PlayStation 3 if you enjoy a retro experience.
