Personally for me Jio Fiber has to be the biggest disappointment of 2019. It had such big hype before the commercial roll out but turned out to be a big flop in terms of actual fiber broadband and now capping of upload speeds.

What are the cons of Jio fiber?

No pros only cons. FUP is a joke and there’s nothing there which is not provided by other companies. No clarity at all on many things like the additional data, OTA apps bundled with the packages, first day first show etc. I’m not going to Recommend JioFIber to anyone it’s very costly, Better go for other ISP.

Yes there is difference in the plans with speed. But Jio has never been reliable for me. With unexpected random connection/speed drop, jio can’t be trusted for online meetings or any online work which demands continuous and uninterrupted connections. I am a very early adopter of airtel v fiber.

Why Jio dongle is not available in market Quora?

Reliance Jio keeps replacing JioFi device at Jio Stores every few months so they also need to have exchange offers for old customers stuck with older versions. They only have exchange offers for 4G Data Cards of other makes of telcos like Airtel / Vodafone etc.
