They are bored because the material is too easy for them. They fly through their assignments and get frustrated that their classmates aren’t as fast as them, and that their teachers can’t always challenge them more. They are bored because the material is too difficult for them. They struggle until they give up.

Why are exams bad for students?

Exam stress can lead to many different mental illnesses, like depression and anxiety, panic attacks, low self-esteem, self-harming and suicidal thoughts and worsening of pre-existing mental health conditions.

First of all, exams cause too much pressure for students. They do not have enough sleep, so they can not do well in their exams.

There are many causes for the fear of exams, some of them may be as follows: Pressure of parents on children for good grades. Too much of expectations in terms of performance and achievements. Low self esteem or confidence in a child.

Exams improve the student’s overall personality, memory, and their revision skills. Generally, students give oral and written exams in their schools/colleges. They have a wrong belief like an exam is unnecessary, but if they try to think in a detailed positive manner, they can understand the benefits of exams.

Exam phobia is the fear of examinations and it is very common among students of all age groups these days. Some students develop exam phobia and struggle to overcome it. This might push them towards anxiety and even depression in some cases.
