Those experienced in BJJ have confidence that if they ever find themselves in a self-defense situation, they can adequately defend themselves. Ultimately, students of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will have more confidence in a self-defense scenario, but they are also less likely to engage in one.

Should I keep doing jiu-jitsu?

Giving your body time to recover and allowing you to not have bjj take over your life. The hardest part is that people get hit with the “Jiu Jitsu Bug” and want to train everyday. So for the average hobbyist, 3 days a week is enough to maintain your jiu jitsu and grow at the same time.
