for what they are worth, squiers aren’t bad guitars. you do get a lot of dodgy guitars from the lower end of their production line due to the very loose quality control, and they are also very very varied (i once saw 2 ‘identical’ affinity strats, same colour, same batch, completely different neck thickness!).
