Yes you can join a fraternity as a junior. As a sophomore myself in college I made the choice of joining my chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon as a freshman and it was one of the most beneficial experiences I have been able to embark on in college.

I would say most new members are a freshman in college and are 18/19 years old. There are also girls that are sophomores, juniors, and seniors that go through recruitment. Sororities usually have a quota that they must meet for each class, so they can definitely give you a bid if they have room. That is awesome!

You have to go through rush week which is a general off campus event to meet one or more frats. If you are being introduced to the top people in the house and shown some love thst means they like you and if not leave and move on to another house.
