What kind of Music should I sing in a K-pop audition?

While you are a trainee you will be asked to write and choreograph your own original music so keep that in mind. Most auditions will ask you to sing an English song and one Korean song. It is always good to have one backup just in case. Therefore for your audition, try to select a song that was a hit at some point in time.

Can you sing in K-pop if you are a smoker?

So remember, singing ability CAN be improved with hard work. Therefore, if you are a smoker, you will need to quit. Not only does smoking hurt your voice but it will be banned for most trainees. We recommend focusing on dancing as most interested in entering K-pop can sing or rap.

How many songs should I prepare for my online audition?

For your online audition, prepare just 1 song. Make it last only 1 to maybe (AT MOST) 1 minute and 30 seconds. Staff sees a lot of long videos and might get bored if they have to watch for too long. First impressions matter!!! Now for what song, I would recommend either an English or Korean song.
