    Don’t be afraid to talk out loud because there might be others with the same question and same fear. Read the syllabus. Go to class, stop cancelling it yourself! Divide tasks into bits to not feel pressured and always talk to someone for help or just for advice.

    Most teachers are eager to teach (cannot say for all though) but are definitely harsh graders. Students are extremely competitive (even school spirit is revolved around competition) and guaranteed most feel imposter syndrome and a ton of academic stress.

I didn’t anticipate joining Speech and Debate, especially considering I was a really shy, introverted kid, nor did I anticipate falling in love with writing and journalism.
