What do you do to go to heaven?
You might think that all you have to do is be a good person, go to church, or help others. However, the Bible teaches that the only way to get to heaven is by becoming a Christian, which you do by accepting Jesus as your Savior.
Do we see each other in heaven?
In fact, the Bible indicates we will know each other more fully than we do now. The Apostle Paul declared, “Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known” (1 Corinthians 13:12). It’s true that our appearance will change, because God will give us new bodies, similar to Jesus’ resurrection body.
Can we see God face to face in heaven?
In Christianity, the Bible states that God “dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has even seen or can see” (1 Timothy 6:16), but when God reveals himself to us in heaven we will then see him face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12).
What type of body will we have in heaven?
God will give us new bodies in heaven — bodies that will be similar to Christ’s body after His resurrection. The Bible says that Christ, “by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body” (Philippians 3:21).
Who will we see in Heaven?
Heaven is where all believers long to go to be with God forever. God, the Father, and Jesus, our Savior, are the two most obvious persons we will see in heaven.
What does the Bible say about looking forward to the future?
The Bible tells us to set our hearts and minds on things above ( Colossians 3:1-2 ), and Peter tells us to “look forward to the day of God and speed its coming,” and to be always “looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells” ( 2 Peter 3:12-14 ).
What is the worship like in Heaven?
There is holy and glorious worship beyond description in Heaven. All glory, honor and power are given to God (Revelation 4:8-11). The angels are in Heaven, praising and serving God. They are powerful with radiant splendor and they rejoice when each sinner repents.
What are you looking forward to getting to Know Your Angel neighbors?
I’m also looking forward to getting to know my angel neighbors. According to Ephesians 1:10, God will one day merge the created realms of the physical and spiritual orders. I think angels will be as visible and accessible to us as all the other creatures God has made.
