Pressing on one side of the iron more firmly than the other will leave you with spots that are not applied enough and others that are over applied. This is why a heat press will give you best results when working with faux leather… and any material really!

3M carpet tape to position (don’t push down hard yet), then gently pull up edges (one section at a time) and use Loctite super glue (thin so it doesnt squirt out when pressed). Lightly pressing edges back down as you go. If tape goes to edge it’s ok to put glue on top of tape.
