Fifa 17 is not better than Fifa 19. The answer to that might be based on your opinion. Fifa 19 is definitely better than Fifa 17 in all aspects from gameplay to Graphics. Because EA have made too much of an effort in recent years to mould the FIFA series into an E-Sports game.

The AI defending is much better than in ‘19. Positioning is better and pace less of a problem. A slow defender can still catch a fast winger with good positioning. It’s now more difficult to continuously spam skill moves, which I hated in Fifa 19.
