With the launch of Android 10 and iOS 13, both operating systems now require us to request from you the wifi details in order to work with your home network. To do this, we need the ability to identify when the app is in your home network – where you cameras are located.

You’ll probably want to leave this on the whole time, as it will show your profile to more potential matches as you move around your area.

It is not a hard requirement for the app, as it works fine after the phone is opened without these permissions. Thanks for your support! By enabling the Location permission your pics will not automatically be Geotagged. You can still turn off geotagging in the camera app settings.

To use your base station wirelessly:
- In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Base Station.
- Tap on the Settings gear on the top right.
- Tap Device Info > Change Connection. You’ll see one of the following screens: Select your network. Follow the onscreen steps to connect to your WiFi network.
