Sorry to say but i7 7700K will bottleneck the RTX 3080 at 4k. If you want GPU for your current CPU then go with the RTX 2080Ti. In my opinion, change your CPU to i7 or i9 of the 9th or 10th gen. And if you have a tight budget then go with the AMD CPU.

It’s really where you plant your goalpost, the 7700 non-k is very similar to the current i3-10100 (as mentioned above) You still are looking at very good FPS across the board and even in a difficult game like RDR2 the FPS avg is over 75. The bottleneck always dedpends on the game, but short answer is yes.
