If you are planning to apply to universities in the US and you drop out of the IB you will significantly hurt your chances of getting accepted. The IB diploma is perceived as great preparation for success at universities.

Why do you want to quit IB?

Simply put, I quit IB because I can’t do it anymore. I can’t handle the constant stress, the constant anxiety and losing sleep over school assignments that don’t really mean anything. I’m not wired to concentrate for hours each night on my pre-calc homework.
