Traditional lights produce heat through IR (Infrared Radiation) which tend to heat the bulb around it which makes the bulb too hot to touch. LEDs don’t generate heat through IR which means that they don’t heat the bulb around them. This is the reason why LEDs are used in stores, restaurants, and homes.
