Why do we feel what we feel?
We only feel emotions because we are taught about it like they are a thing. Emotions are a state of mind and this state of mind makes a person very fragile.

How you feel (and your body language) is a reflection of what you’re thinking about. Since emotions and the body’s reactions are triggered by the thoughts you give attention to, therefore, you’re living in a world of thought: Your thoughts create your experiences, and thus, you experience what you think.

Thoughts can trigger emotions (worrying about an upcoming job interview may cause fear) and also serve as an appraisal of that emotion (“this isn’t a realistic fear”).
